Components
- Cardiospermum halicacabum seeds dried extract: antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects are the most important among the many properties attributed to this plant. It is able to modulate phospholipase A2 and inhibit the expression of COX-2.
- Zanthalene®: a lipophilic solution containing about 20% of the extract obtained from the skins of the fruits of Zanthoxylum bungeanum. Its soothing and antipruritic action depends on its ability to reduce skin sensitivity to stimuli, without interfering with the physiological response to pain.
- Lithospermum erythrorhizon roots dried extract: inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells and suppresses the transcription of proinflammatory cytokines induced by activation of nuclear factor kB. The anti-inflammatory effect appears to come from the phytocomplex molecule shikonin.
- Low and High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid: located in the connective tissue and especially the dermis. Particularly useful as a topical anti-inflammatory and promoter of epithelial repair. Some studies show that topical application of hyaluronic acid promotes all mechanisms that repair skin lesion
